Michael Allen, President/CEO
Michael is the President/CEO of HR Allen Consulting Services. Michael has over 15 years of Strategic HR Management experience. He has helped start-ups, established and public sector agencies, comply with federal and state labor laws by providing HR expertise and HR services.
Mr. Allen has managed mergers and acquisitions of international and local businesses. He has developed and staffed HR departments for businesses. Michael has reviewed and developed Affirmative Action Plans, Compensation & Classification Plans and HR strategies for organizations. Mr. Allen has helped start-ups and SMBs by managing their HR responsibilities and ensuring that their business is complying with state and federal labor laws. He has saved businesses over $500K in fines by implementing safety strategies and employment procedures to ensure compliance with Department of Labor and OSHA guidelines.
Michael Allen has been published in various professional and regional magazines, for providing HR expertise to business owners and HR professionals. I have also provided training seminars on labor law issues, dealing with difficult employees, sexual harassment training, management training and Leave of Absence requirements for various organizations in northern California.
Michael graduated from University of Phoenix with a B.S. in Business Management and founded HR Allen Consulting Services, which is a full-service HR Outsourcing/ payroll company located in Citrus Heights, CA. Michael is a past board member for Sacramento Employers Advisory Council (SEAC) which provides HR advice to business owners and HR professionals, and is a member with Society of Human Resources (SHRM) and Sacramento Area Human Resources Association (SAHRA).
